We are so glad that you have answered God's call in your life to become a marriage mentor.  It is our goal to provide you with all of the resources that you need to become confident, fulfilled, and encouraged in your ministry to the women in your group.  There is no perfection required!  Only a willingness to seek God, share honestly, and show Christ's love to the women in your group.

The work of a mentor is significant at a time when so many are struggling in their marriage. As a Beautiful Womanhood mentor, you have the opportunity to love and encourage women to keep going and growing in their role as a wife.  Sharing from your own struggles and successes, the women you mentor will be encouraged!  Knowing you face or have faced some of the same situations they are will dispel the lie that their marriage is suffering like no one else's.  The love you share will cause hope and strength to invade their hearts as they reverse negative patterns or battle bravely for their marriage.

It happened again!  I just heard from a woman I've mentored over the past year who called to share with me all that was going on in her life and marriage.  Because I hadn't heard from her for a couple of months, I was  surprised to hear her say that she called me because there wasn't anyone else who understands all she faces or offers her the encouragement she desperately needs.
I've been reading I Peter for the past two weeks and was struck by chapter 4:8. "Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multifude of sins."
One way to show this deep love is to patiently encourage those who are struggling to find their way to the things of God.  Sometimes all that involves is listening and caring about the details of a woman's life.  At other times, you'll feel the Holy Spirit's nudge to give instruction according to God's Word.
When I hung up the phone I was overwhelmed with gratefulness to God for allowing me the privelege of ministering to one of his women.  As mentors, you will be amazed at the opportunites God will give you to share His love.
