Are you experiencing struggles?  It's been said that you're either in the midst of a problem, just come through a problem, or are about to encounter one!  Life seems full of trouble, which is a discouraging fact if you're trying to handle it on your own.  Psalm 77: 19 says, "Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters--a pathway no one knew was there!"

Yes, there will be trouble, but when you experience God's love for you, you slowly begin to trust Him with your life--no matter what you're going through.  I speak from experience.  My husband and I have encountered many difficult situations over the last 5 years including a failed business, unemployment, and children, to name a few.  But as I've grown in experiential knowledge of God's love for me (Chapter 1 of my book), I've learned to trust Him with the problems I encounter and I've seen Him lead me through mighty waves of diffulty on paths that I didn't know existed.  I couldn't begin to plan a pathway through my mess, but God accomplished it!  Though times of difficulty still surround me, I'm experiencing amazing peace walking through turbulent times.

God wants you to experience His love and learn to trust Him with all the details of your life.  Will you let Him have your problems today?

When I'm asked to speak at an event, I'll often tell the story of a man and a woman, each driving their own car, traveling in opposite directions on the same road.  When they pass each other, the woman yells through her open window, "PIG!"  The man yells right back, "WITCH!"  The man continues traveling, rounds the next bend, crashes into a huge pig standing in the middle of the road and dies.  The moral of the story?  If men would only listen!
I love this story because I'm passionate about alerting others to the "pigs" I've crashed into as well as those I've avoided while traveling along the road of life and marriage. I want to offer others the opportunity to learn from my struggles as well as successes so they can avoid a few pigs.  Why am I so passionate about this kind of mentoring?  Because God has used other godly women to help me navigate an often challenging life and marriage.  The wisdom they've gleaned from God's word and their experience has been a profound blessing in my life and I know mentoring will bless you, too, because women need the encouragement of other women!
