I was encouraged by your honesty throughout the book. It gave me the courage along with the Holy Spirit to be totally honest with my group. So I shared some issues, hurts & struggles I have been facing. I began to see the Lord open up the hurting heart of a woman with tears streaming down her face as she finally felt safe to share some of her pain. She had up to this point, been one of the less talkative ones in our group.
God is so incredibly awesome to bring healing when we are courageous enough to take Him at His Word and be obedient in the honest telling of our own stories. Part of the best gift I had hoped to receive out of walking through my present trial, was to be healed myself and to become the hand of Jesus who brings His healing to others. Little did I know, He could use me along the way in my journey of healing.
We just had our last meeting today. As each woman shared, I was truly amazed at how the Lord puts women of all different backgrounds together to encourage, strengthen & support one another. That is the living body of Christ in action...learning and sharing the Truth so we can grow up to be like Him!
